Loc-Tite locations

I am putting a 94 rear subframe in my 93 and before I torque down the bolts I am just curious are there any recommended locations for loc-tite? There is some greenish coloring on the Diff bollts so I was thinking maybe there was originally loc-tite on them. Just waiting on this to put the subframe back in and get the car on the ground.

Check the shop manual, it calls out the bolts that should have a thread locker on it.

I would use blue thread locker if it is needed, the red is just too aggressive.

Well I looked before and could not find any mention and I just went through the manual again and still can find no mention of thread locker. I guess I will go through and torque everything down then. Thanks.

Wasn't green Loc-tite purpose to seal

Green stuff I have is a wicking type, which probably stand to reason for stuff upside down. It's also used on the tank straps and the bumper reos from memory.

I'd expect Mazda would have used some product from 3 bond rather than anything from loctite...if you were particularly concerned.
