I did mine 2 days after I bought the car having never worked on an FD before. It's alot of parts to remove but everything on the car is laid out logically and there aren't any real gotcha's anywhere. This forum will help alot.

I would find someone to do it for you since you do not already know the answer.
Especially if your car is still running the stockers sequentially - there are a lot of things that could really hang you up. If your car is single turbo, you can have the LIM off in 15 minutes... |
Diy
I would DIY, BUT with HELP. Get yourself a copy of the FSM, read it, look at the car, read it again, look at the car, print it out and take outside with you. If you don't trust yourself, I'm sure there is a member on here close enough to you that wouldn't mind lending a helping hand. You never know what you can do, until it has been done. With these cars knowing everything you can, will make ownership much easier. Good Luck.
