LIM Differences??

So i know that there are differences in lower intake manifolds between U.S spec and the Japanese ones. But i think i remember reading that the late model fd's here have a different lower intake manifold or something. Is this true? Thanks!

I have the Japanese LIM. You don't need any block off plates for it cause Japan doesn't have the emission B.S. that we do. It also allows for more room for single turbo kits. I will be selling mine as I just went with the ground zero LIM for more fuel.

the only thing the jspec lim seems to be missing is the EGR and ascociated vaccum hoses. Otherwise it seems identicle to my 93 US spec lim. I haven't mounted it yet, so there maybee something else I havn't noticed.

95 USDM and i'm not shure what year, if not all JDM intake manifolds do not have EGR holes but they still do have the ACV hole. 93 & 94 USDM are the same. Extension manifolds are the same not matter what year or market. If you intend to run a short runner single turbo then you may need the 95+ intake manifold. Also, if you switched to a PFC which does not control EGR and need a new main wire harness, then you should be able to order the 95 and you won't have the unused plug. I am not aware of any other differences between the harnesses though.

If you're looking for a performance upgrade on your LIM, the Groundzero piece is the only way to fly :)
