NOS?

Have you made an appoinment for your next rebuild yet?

thewird 10-11-08 10:18 PM

There is nothing wrong with NOS if your car is tuned properly for the NOS shots and is supported by the mods correctly.

Good, although it's hard to watch you cut a hole for that battery in the trunk floor panel. I love a stock, sleeper look but hey, to each is own. Just be careful with how much you advertise through the back window. Some things attract the wrong eyes.

appreciate the input the windows are getting tinted as soon as she is back together, i wanted to free up space under the hood and didn't want to sacrifice one of my bins. i did it right no hack involved in that. out came the spare and in went in mdf wood the battery is nice an secure.

When relocating weight, it is best to put it towards the center of the vehicle. by moving your battery to the far back corner, you are only relocating a problem.

Also, that type of battery needs to be in a sealed box with a vent tube to the exterior for safety reasons.

/\ yea hydrogen gas is kind of nasty. at least get a sealed battery with a vent tube provision built into the battery.

What about when instead of CO2 choking the engine, the NOS goes instead?

That's getting double use out of it. :)

Exactly, this is a big piece of safety advice. If you are planning on keeping a non-sealed battery inside the car you need to box and vent it as he said.
