I agree with Majik, I had my injectors blueprinted and balanced by RC Engineering. I remove the O-rings they put on them and purchased all OEM o-rings and spacers. My diffusers were okay. Using motor oil on the fuel rail and o-rings I carefully seated the injectors into the rail. If you used carb cleaner or WD-40 it may not have offered enough lube to seat the o-rings without a kink in them.

BTW, I did get this issue resolved. It ended up being a bad injector (closest to the firewall). I slapped another set of injectors in there (both just to be sure) and so far so good. No fuel smell... no leaks...
