Koyo rad and GReddy SMIC anyone?

is anyone running this set-up? i'm looking to buy a new radiator and had been leaning towards the Koyo due to its size until i started reading up on the subject and it seems like people are having alot of fitment issues not only installing the Koyo itself, but then fitting an aftermarket SMIC (or maybe the stocker too?).

i'm wondering if anyone is running that specific setup because that's my SMIC of choice. eventually i'd like to get one but... should i just get the fluidyne and save myself the installation hasles? i know its more expensive, but if there are no fitment issues, i could do it myself and actually in the long run end up saving cash or breaking even i guess.

long post short, if you have this setup, were there "major" fitment issues?

Please read a couple of post down "Radiator advise for newbee" by HBRX7, this will answer all your questions.

i read it... but it doesn't really clear anything up... its just a bunch of back-and-forth, now that i think about it though, i should have posted in that instead of creating a new one... sorry, it was early and the brain hadn't warmed up yet. i think i've come to the decision of getting a fluidyne though just because i'd rather be able to do it myself, more of a learning experience.

I had no issues at all with the install of the Koyo. I also have the Greddy SMIC and it fits perfectly.
