Koyo Racing and Koyorad are the same company?
ok, so I received my koyorad radiator today and am wondering if koyo Racing Radiator and koyorad are the same company? they have different logos...... I bought this radiator on Ebay, and it says it's made in Indonesia.
I can't seem to find the koyo racing radiator website, but there is a koyorad website. I also paid a lot less, $250 for the radiator... everything seems ok with it, good welds and what not.... |
you get what you pay for unless you get lucky HAHAHA

I'm fine with it being a knock off, I like saving money.. lol but the auction lists it as a Koyo Racing radiator.... doesn't bother me because I paid the chepaer price, I just want to know if they are different companies and that people are aware of it.

How thick is the core? I bought a stock sized koyo brand radiator for another car for $175 last month. I could see it being $250 if you switched from plastic to aluminum end tanks.
Now if this radiator is as thick as the $350 koyo rads, then perhaps you did score a deal by buying the knockoff. Dave |
it's pretty thick, it's thicker than the stock one. I'll measure it later, and post the link to the guy I bought it from on ebay....

Does the logo look like the one in this picture?
