Koyo Aluminum Radiator Installed

Last week before I went on a road trip to Denver I installed my new Koyo radiator. The installation was pretty simple and it was a direct bolt on. I have read other posts about fitment problems but mine was fine. I was seeing temps of about 95 deg F to 112 deg F before the install, and so far after it has never went past 88 deg F. This is definatly a great mod and it should have been one of my first. The only other cooling mod is the AST elimination. My other mods are in my sig. Later Josh

Cool, I have been trying to decide on either the Koyo or Fluidyne. How long did it take you to install it?

I wish mine was easy to install! My koyo install is kicking my ass!!! I have the M2 Large SMIC and the duct is not fitting right with the Rad.

I had to throw in the towel for the night. Tomorrow the Koyo will go down.

Koyo's fitment will be fine for stock location. I am concering if I relocate it for FMIC. Anyone experienced that.

Hmm, thats not good. I have the same intercooler and am thinking about getting the koyo. Do you have to cut the duct?

yes the koyo+m2 large fitment sucks! funny how i was full of shit when claiming a noticable drop in coolant temp after installing one, according to others

Fluidyne! No fitment problems at all with the Pettit LSMIC...comparable coolant temps with the Koyo in my experience.

Yeah maybe I should've bought the fluidyne. But the koyo is bigger and cheaper. I'm gonna make it fit.
