Koyo/AC Dryer fitment issues

I'm in the process of installing my Koyo single pass radiator. Everything went pretty smooth until I got to the point where I tried to reattach my AC dryer. There's just no room, it's like the Koyo is 3-4 inches taller than stock, and there's no way for the canister to move down. Does anybody know how to make it fit? Thanks.

I didn't have this problem when I installed my Koyo a few weeks ago. The canister is held in place by the metal thingamajig which has a little footie that "stands" on the radiator. Make sure it's standing in the right place for starters and you can always loosen the bolt that holds the dryer in place and wiggle it lower in it's holder, then re-tighten. I can take a pic of how mine stands on my Koyo if that will help.

I saw that there might be some issues with the Koyo rad when tried to install it. It is so much bigger than stock. I removed the A/C condenser because it was damaged running over "something", but I did not have to move the dryer unit.

Otherwise, everything could fit, but it would be kinda tight.

^That's what I figured mine would do too. But when I went to push it down, the radiator and fan shroud take up all the room that the dryer would normally be in. Is it possible that when I installed the brackets onto the Koyo, I put them on upside down and that's what's causing it to sit so high. It does seem to be mounted at a higher angle than stock radiator. Feasible??

Should be able to tell if you put the brackets on wrong, the studs that come through the bracket wouldn't be long enough to get the nut threaded on if you did it wrong. When I did mine I had to die grind out the bracket mounting point just a bit so I could get it to clear something in the front bumper area and mount flush properly.

Did you do a search on how to install it?

It's mentioned frequently that you have to flip the brackets to get the radiator to sit lower.

Did you do that? If you did, the koyo almost touches (or does touch) the cooler.

Right after starting this thread I thought about flipping the brackets in order to gain the extra clearance. I did a search and found a lot of non related fitment problems (stock air box mainly) and also threads that ended up being Koyo Vs. Fliudyne debates. I'm pretty sure the bracket flip will fix my problem. Thanks 7racer.
