knocking !! help!!
 

i got this problem...does anyone know waht happen..comment please!

while i was rev the car , suddenly i noticed that the knocking graph went up...im using the apexi power fc normali the knocking is around 30 -45 than sudenli went up to 70-90.....when in idle state the knocking graph is not smooth...when you push the gas the graph went up high too...what happen????

my car is rx-7 series 8

i did check the compresion and it is fine(120) i check the spark and it is fine i do change the spark and doesnt fix the problem...help!

So are you seeing this only when you rev and you're not moving?

There was some talk of this on the datalogit owners list recently. It seems that some degree of "knock" is normal in the map "cruise ranges" because of drivetrain noise that is interpreted as knock. If this is where you're seeing it, that is probably the culprit and you can probably ignore it.

Other than that, when are you seeing it? Acceleration? Idle? Give us some more info please...
