hey, i found this rear diffuser from kenstyle at bulletproof automotive. i was looking at the rotary extreme one but i think i like this one better. however, bullet proof only seems to sell the entire car kit which i dont care for. looks like it would cost 3-400 for the fiberglass, and 700 or so for carbon fiber. anyone know where i can find just the diffuser. i already did a search with no help.

i've actually been thinkin about getting this rear diffuser instead of the RE one

jpandes Jan 25, 2006 06:54 PM

Now, do you really need to put that on your car? In the pictures it just seems to look "unfinished".

IMHO

rt turbo Jan 25, 2006 07:38 PM

well , if its that expensive, hell no. but i like it better than any other diffuser on the market, maybe equal to a certain few. IMHO.

don't like... :Kill1:

Just no point for that IMO.

actually, as i look at it i do the the re anymia style better. i found a picture of it from head height and it looks like it is a busted up under pannel that is falling down. it needs to be connected at the edges to the bumped side, and maybe draft fins in the middle. im going with something else.

you guys tghat dont like it, are you against all rear diffusers? my p;lan is to get the sides skirts like this and a difuser and not touching the outside again:

The second picture posted above looks like the car ran over a rubber trash can lid or something and it got stuck....so no I don't like it. The only one that seem to be made for the car and isnt to outlandish is the old RE one. Everything else, to me, looks tacky and doesn't flow well with the car. I almost feel for the owners who buy them since I feel like 2 years from now, they'll regret buying it after their taste's change on what they like for the car.

If the FD had dual exhaust I think it would look smoother.

rt turbo Jan 26, 2006 10:36 PM

dual, as in right side/left side exits? ehh,, only on an fc. that like putting a drift wing on an evo.
