Just ordered the Mazdaspeed GTC front end!
 

Sup guys. Im stoked. Just ordered the mazdaspeed GTC '99 front end from Jason(RX7store). Should look awesome. I'll post pic's as soon as I get it painted and installed.

I think it's one of the best kits out there along with C-Westin. It's just plain clean and agressive. Of course I am biased. I don't really like the tinted head light cover, but it serves its purpose. Sweet.

That's the same front end I want. That big ass mouth opening should work perfectly with the FMIC.

Do the integrated lights come with it? And, is the plastic over them smoked, or clear? I can never tell from the pictures. Some of them look smoked, sometimes they look clear.

lights you have to buy separately ~ $350 for mine

The whole kit w/ lights cost $1290 shipped to my door. Here is a pic of what my car looks like now.

BTW....the turn signal lights Im getting arn't the smoked ones. I liked the clear better.:D

do they come with the clear ones or did u buy the clear ones seperatly? how did u get the clears?

wouldn't you want the side skirts too? the rear end of the gt-c kit is pretty ugly...spoiler and bottom end.

The turn signals had to be purchased seperate. And yes I would like to buy the sideskirts, but the funds don't permit right now. And no, Im not getting the rear valance. It will only accomidate a 3" exhaust tip. I have the Apex GT. I also have the '99 rear wing which IMO, is much sleeker and more classy then the ricy GT wing.

Those pics you posted up are really sweet. I think your car would look better if you lowered it just a little bit.

wow, you're plan really is falling into place. Pretty soon you won't have anything left to put "too much money" into. ;) I'm sure you'll come up with something. I gotta say, it looked badass enough already, now, watch out!

Thanks, next project is the KKK Single Turbo kit from SR Motorsports. Ray says its good for over 500rwhp and spool up faster than the Greddy T78 so Im pretty anxious.

I'm using H&R Springs on my RX-7 R1. I wish I had done this mod 3 years ago when I bought the car. It's a little bit more comfortable than the R1 springs. I highly recommend these springs. Also, Tire Rack did a test between the H&R Springs and Eibach Springs and they found that the H&R Springs are just a little bit better than the Eibach Springs. I don't know if it's going to hurt your car 60' time, but it's worth it.

It looks like we both have the same plan to go with a single turbo setup. I was at KD yesterday and I was talking to Dave about my plan. It looks like things are going to turn out great. :biggrin:

That's pretty cool, Ernie. No offense, but it's going to look really silly without some side-skirts. That front is very deep and has an elaborate base that flows into some bold sideskirt hints. Looks aren't really my thing, but I just wanted to give you the heads up! :) Have fun anyways!

is it made out of fiberglass? the gt wing doesn't look rice on this car. maybe on civic, but not this one. well that's my opinion.

don't put on the front kit without the side skirts, cuz it'll look:fruit:

there will also be an unattractive gap between the bottom of your FMIC and the lower lip.

I plan on getting the sideskirts, but not right now. Cash is a little tight and I want to have enough to have it painted and installed right away.

Love it with the clear lenses. Smoked lenses? - it's just too - too. (Camaro?)

hey yomamasmama, is that the real GT-C front end or is that the replica that's on your car?? and if it's the real one, is the glass that came with it clear or smoked?? let me know pls.

it's a fake rip off FIBERGLASS one of the orginal genuine FIBERGLASS one ;)

haha, fiberglass is fiberglass, all you should really care about is fitment

okay, one more stupid question. is the side skirt the real one or a replica on your car?? and if it's a replica, where did you purchase it from and what was the cost???

I think Jason at the RX-7 store can help you with that. I believe Mazdaspeed has stopped production on this kit,:( .

is there holes for the liscense plate on the Mazdaspeed GT-C front bumper?

No they havn't stopped production and the kit does come with a lisence plate bracket kit, but if you don't use it, you can take advantage of the air intake cut out that the bumper has.

It can cost an arm and a leg for the original. Not worth it for fiberglass. There are people who can get the original. Maybe someone can post.

Cool, then you'll get what you pay for. This is what I payed for, front, sides, and lights (250 not 350 after looking at my reciepts:rolleyes: I have a bad memory on the what I bought, maybe that's a blessing :p ). Good luck on the install.
