Is it just me or are the brakes a cinch to bleed
i swear the brakes on my fd were the easiest brakes i have ever bled. the reason i am posting is...USUALLY NOTHING IS EASY ON THIS CAR. Am i just lucky or are all FD's this easy? i was honestly done in about 5 minutes with the whole car.

Yep, with speedbleeders or the motive brake pump, it's easy on this car. But then again, on what car is this hard? All 3 cars I work on are the same for bleeding.

well i bled brakes on a blazer one time...i swear it took 3 days and 3 gallons of brake fluid. also bad experience with a few motorcycles as well...or maybe i just suck

brakes, suspension and exhaust - all relatively easy fun jobs on FDs
|
Only issue i ever have bleeding is not being able to find a small enough wrench to open the bleed screw.

It's an 8mm. Comes standard in most metric wrench sets.

LOL. For me, it's the 10mm. I have 4 complete wrench sets, and I can never find my damn 10mm!

lol, I always drop sockets in the engine bay and I end up spending more time finding them than actually working on the car.

The FD is by far the easiest car I've worked on. Engine bay is roomy and everything is pretty easy to find. Aside from removing the turbos and dealing with the stock sequential vaccuum lines there isnt a thing on the car that I find challanging at all.

https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...d=101979&stc=1 That looks like the tool chest of someone who doesn't use it very often. Way to organized. Not to mention it's craftsman. :P |

Mechanic poseurs. Now I have seen everything. :p

My toolchest looks like after a week of organizing. Then my brother comes over on the weekends and they are all back on the garage floor.
