Just making an introduction

Hey guys just want to drop a line since I have been lurking here gather information for the past few weeks… A little about myself I am military currently with a coupe months left in Iraq and 3 years left in Misawa or 4 years if I decide to give in and marry my girl. Well I am just a little tired of owning my 180… Don’t get me wrong I love the car, and in truth it’s not the car I am getting tired of… Its all the dam other 180’s that keep popping up all over the place, all the other dam people that wreck the 180 trying to drift at the fish port or residential areas, all those idiots that give legitimate people like us bad names… Sigh may Darwin slowly claim them all... Anyways I just can’t fight that desire to own an FD anymore. My goals are to get it up spec with my 180, which I do drift days at Motor Land past Hachinohe, and some open track days at Highland Raceway in Sendai. I do have a couple questions though, will most parts from the states work with their Japanese counterpart? I am mainly interested in electronics like injectors/power fc. Anyone notice a big difference in rev speed when changing to a pulley kit/lightened flywheel/carbon or aluminum driveshaft?? Do most of you circuit racing/drifter disable sequential?

Welcome

I like the idea of the sequental turbos, because you get boost at lower RPM's

Honestly I'm still really new and still learning my self so get results from multiple members.

The search button has been my best friend for the last 6 months, I suggest you introduse yourself to it.

Welcome:)
