I just got approved for my mazdacomp membership and it is great. The discount is unbelievable even on some aftermarket parts. I highly recommend this if you race at least 2 races a year. Any approved sanctioned racing event that you run with a Mazda. I just wish they had 99 twins. :)

Congrats. Welcome to the club. They have some great deals on Mazda parts. The other (non mazda) stuff isn't always the best deal around, but the prices are reasonable.

Maybe because not everyone can do it. You have to actually race in sanctioned events, not just track days. There is no doubt that these are the cheapest prices on stock parts that I have heard of. Do you have a membership? If you race, I would join it is free and easy.


I was looking through some of the aftermarket parts and some of them are not as cheap as the rx7 store, but it is well worth it for stock parts. Also it is nice being able to look up your own part number and get pricing without calling the genus's at a Mazda dealership.

I have had it for two years now. I use it for my RX-7 and my 323 GTXs.

Do they consider SCCA Solo II to be a "sanctioned event"?

As long as you are competing against other cars and there is some sort of "official result" of placement, it's fine.

Yes, just send them the results of 2 events showing your name and the car entered. You can also get on if you are building a car for competition.

I think you have to compete in the car that you are getting the membership for?

Well, if you have Mazda3 or Mazda6 for last year, I think you can get the membership when you race on RevitUp.
But you have to have two in a year.
Just go to Solo2 autocrosses, it works that way.
Hey....do we have to update the membership every year? They still have not ask me to send anything in since 2002.

They have never asked me to update it either. I usually just send them links to my results every year just to be on the safe side.

I just print some results, highlight them and add my name and member number. Then I fax them over without any other contact with them. No trouble staying updated. I think you can even email results now...

You must compete in the Mazda you own in order to qualify for the membership. At the same time only the Mazda's you have results for are eligible. You can't race your RX-7 and also get parts for your daily driver Protege for instance.

For those who find it tough to locate sanctioned events to compete in, go to www.autocross.com and find a club in your area. Any local autox event that actually has results on a webpage etc will qualify for Mazda Motorsports membership just fine. Then you just have to do 2 events every 52 weeks.

No, you must comepete in your Mazda which you own.

They don't call and ask for it, you must keep yourself up to date. Your membership shows the last results they have available from you, that way you know when you need to get the new ones in.
