Just blew second motor!!!

Chris at RP called me today, as you will guess it was not good news. After storing the car for the last six months, while saving up to add some more mods, i decided to take her out one nice sunny day, after i stopped off at the local convience store, i noticed an ocean of radiator fluid emitting from underneath my car, i thought it was just a dried out plastic radiator recovery tank, which it was, plus a hell of alot more. What will i do w/o her?????? Crying as i type this, oh well in a month or so i will have a fully rebuilt motor, this time i will spare no expense, not that i did on the last motor, oh well, it was 60K of fun. man this car is a money pit, like you didn't already know.

That sucks man, I feel your pain. See my sig, I dont even know what's wrong with mine, but I do have compression. It's friggin crazy. Nobody seems to be able to figure out why it keeps flooding.

Awe man...Sorry to hear that. Yeah, this car can get pricey to upkeep but the rewards are fantastic. Hang in there...you'll be lovin' life when you get it back.

Your sig was not posted, you have compression but it keeps flooding?? Huh, have you done a search or talked to a Rotary specalist shop such as Rotary Performance, that is where my baby rests now, maybe Chris over there would be willing to give some tech. advice. just a thought, how long has your FD been f-ed up?

No doubt, i will always love her and plan to keep her till i die, the only problem now is to decide how i want to approach the mods this time, i am thinking 3MM apex seals, port the waste gate, and the rotor housing as well. not to mention the thought of going single, ummm tempting.

Do you guys think that during the rebuild i should go with 3mm apex seals, or stick with 2mm, have you guys heard any horror stories about the 3mm???? I also plan on porting and polishing the rotor housing, as well as all the other necessary mods to complete it.

If you need to mill the rotors, go with 3mm. If not, just use 2mm.
