JSpec Drilled Gas Pedal

Just picked this item up for my car. Its the drilled aluminum gas pedal that was previously available as an option from Mazda in the Japanese market. Its since been discontinued for awhile.

Did you get that from Corksport?

How much?

It looks SWEET!

It does look really good! Where did you find it and the price?

I just bought the alum. foot rest made by Emery Kozak, elkozak@hotmail.com for $45.00. She also offer one similar but I like your better.

Would you tell us where we can get one and how much?

Thanks,

Tony

I want one too :D

Mine is a genuine mazda part made for the 3rd gen. What Emery and lots of other people offering are knockoffs that they make themselves. Plus, this is a complete replacement and not some 'cover' over the stock pedal that I've seen others offer.

No, it did not come from Corksport. This part has been discontinued for years and is really hard to find. I ended up finding it from a private individual in Japan and am now waiting a couple weeks as it gets shipped over. Spent ~$70 for it and was lucky to find it. :)

The pic just shows the facing. Is there more to it? The stock gas pedal is a one piece diecast part made of plastic that includes the arm. I don't see how this one peice can "replace" the stock gas pedal and not be considered a cover without another part to act as the lever arm of the pedal assembly?
Confused,
Crispy
Sure does look nice though!

Yes, there's another part to it.

It's a cover

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but it's a fitted cover (yea, not a flat plate like IM selling). I got one from Cork Sport for $52 a couple of months ago.

Your gonna be in for a little surprize after you install it.
Push the pedal all the way to the floor & it rubs on the transmission tunnnel.
I ended up trimming half of the base of the stock pedal away to shift it over to clear. I used a large washer on the bottom screw to hold it in place.
It's designed for the J-Spec car. The pedal is next to the R/H kick pnl, lots of room.
Here's a shot of it in my car.
Hey tony chien IM a dude!!!! not a chick!!
