JDM '92 FD parts in a JDM '94 FD?

Someone is parting out a '92 FD that had the engine blown out here on Okinawa.

Does anyone have any information on taking parts from a '92 FD and putting them in a '94 FD? In particular the seats, bumpers and engine bits that aren't in bad condition. Are there any engine components that are better on '92 FD's then '94's? I remember reading something about '93 engines having something better than a '94's, like a radiator cap or something but i could be delusional.

Also, what do you think of these lights? I was thinking if i painted the silver parts black and did something about the ugly center lights it would look ok. My car is white, for reference.

You can still buy those tails new, by the way, they're cheap. Maybe you can make them look not-terrible, but I don't know. I do know that they are lighter than stock tails.

Not sure about your other question. It's possible that no one knows for sure. Not every car of the same MY is always exactly the same, but I dunno.

I'd just treat it like a junk yard situation and take whatever is better than what your car has. Starter motor for sure, battery, interior bits, whatever you can grab. You could get a spare rear end, pretty much a whole spare car except for the engine. Even the brake calipers, struts etc could be useful. Take a peak in that bell housing when you're taking the starter off and try to see what he's got for a clutch. Just take it for what you can. If worst comes to worst you can just sell the parts.
