It's cold outside and I wonder if I could be hitting the fuel cut.
My car sometimes cuts out around 6-6.5k in 3rd @ WOT. I have mildly ported exhaust ports, a down-pipe, and I removed the double throttle plates. Those are all of my engine mods; I'm running the stock ECU. Is it possible that those things are enough to cause me to hit the fuel cut in cold weather? I am also investigating ignition...

Quite possible. Real question is how much boost are you running? Do you have a boost gauge?

If it feels like a massive hesitation it's fuel cut.
Keep the boost under 11 psi. |

Keep the boost under 11 psi. I do not have a boost gauge installed. I've been planning to get one. Thanks. |
