Issues with my Rotary Extreme V-Mount

Whats up guys, so I bought my car from a forum member with the Rotary Extreme Regular V-Mount on it and now the Koyo Radiator has failed. It was leaking at the seams and we sent it to a radiator repair shop to be welded but everytime they welded it more leaks would just pop up.

Does anyone have the plans for the custom radiator in the kit or knows who built the original ones so that I can get a new one fabbed? Or maybe has one for sale.

Thanks,
-Andy

Yep I did. It's been a great car. The koyo radiator in the kit has a bunch of modifications done to it though since it's at a different angle from the stock one. So I'm looking for an identical replacement.

Interesting. I better check the welds on mine. I usually see a few drops of coolant under my car but couldn't find any leaky hoses.

On the feet of the radiator, did the boots get put back on? I noticed when installing mine, the brackets weren't made to fit the stock boots through the holes so i had to drill mine out. Now i wonder if the excessive vibrations caused the leaks in the welds?

I don't think mine had rubber boots, no.

Is this common for the koyo welds to leak or is it caused by the modifications for the kit?

i bought my fd..and really liked the feed side skirts...so i just e-mailed him...he said he had a set sitting around....then since i got ahold of him...i told him i just bought the fd and wanted to get a v-mount, he said he would make me one but i had to buy it right then ...and now i have one...
he told me he was leaving the country ...not sure if he did, and came back or not...
pretty sure he left though....
i just e-mailed him (the address on his website)
sonny might answer...
i talked to chuck everytime i contacted them though
good luck

also for some reason if you need any pics ...of the rad. let me know...

All it is, is a modified Koyo. Just buy another Koyo and have a god rad shop duplicate the mods.... or take all of the measurements, and call a place like Griffin and have them make you a replica from the get-go.
