Interest in a compressed file of all the cars on the FD pic thread
 

I had an idea on a way to contribute to this forum since I am not a rotary pro (yet) and so I started saving all the car pics to a folder on my desktop... most of them.. the best shots of each car.. some all.. some little depending upon size and quality.
I was going to continue compiling these pictures for people to make a Picture Slideshow for your screensaver... since there are no official RX7 screensavers for geeks like me I am going to finish it if there is enough interest!

I will post a link to the file when I'm all done!

Awesome idea. I think it would be pretty cool if you could put the screenname of the owner somewhere on the pic also.

I don't really car about my license plate being in my pic personally, but I think some might want it covered if it is going to be given out to multiple people. But I would like to put together as a slideshow.

whenever i save rx-7 photos i always save them in this format:

(rx7club username)_(car-model)_filename.jpg

for example:

theorie_fd3s_engine-bay.jpg

it really helps! that way if i go back and see a pic i like, i can PM the person on rx7club without having to post threads saying "hey who's car is this?"

i wish this forum had it's own photogallery system...

if someone wanted to provide web hosting, i would set up a dedicated rotary/rx-7 photo gallery with sections and search-able keywords.

ill be honest it might take me a bit, mostly workin on it in my down time as a mage in WoW while i eat + drink in the game... cuz it can take a while!

at least tell you rolled Horde.

I would really be ineterested in this. I will keep an eye out for when this gets done.

i'll set up a very nice photo gallery system. search-able keywords, user folders, part photo database, etc.
