I believe the current Pettit Coolcharge II uses the stock piping. Also, the Greddy, SR and Blitz SMIC's.

The ARC fits with the stock piping as well. :)

The old HKS SMIC also used the stock piping. They are next to impossible to find though.

the PFS SMIC also uses stock piping.

ok, excellent. so i have quite a few choices. I was already thinking the coolchargeII used them, im leaning toward that.
Is there a significant difference in those that do fit? i cant see how there could be, unless some were just much larger. if there's not, ill prolly just go with whichever happens to be in the best condition and cheapest in the FS section at the time. thanx everyone p.s. mahjik, what on earth do you do? you always respond correctly, pretty quickly. and your post count gets higher and higher everyday! im glad we have such knowledable people on this forum!:icon_tup: |
I have an Apex intercooler for the stock setup that i'm selling. Goes for almost $2000 and comes with piping and power intakes. If you're interested and can wait a week or 2 for me to break down my car, we can work out a price. Very thick and excellent quality i might add... Here's a link to it

thanx for the offer, but im not interested in FMIC

Blitz SMIC
Trust/Greddy SMIC Newer Pettit CoolCharge II Personally, I would go with an old style Pettit CoolCharge II because of the beefier size, shorter hard piping and great fit. I have had two on two different FD's and loved them. Ofcourse as any good infomercial, I have one for sale PM me if interested. |

Most SMICs can use stock mount piping.
