intercooler question

A good stock mount or large intercooler that stays in the engine bay that will not require relocation of the battery, also with a decent price, that will be good to run with streetport, non seq. and 13-15 pounds of boost?

Pettit (old style) Coolcharge II
ASP Medium (will probably require a smaller battery, but not relocated)

the cool charge II is the SMIC right? i think i just saw thhat one on pettit. I do like that one its just a bit much for the size, but thats all im really looking for. thanks.

The old style version of the Pettit Coolcharge II looks like this:

IMO, the SMIC's I would choose would be:

1. ASP Medium
2. Pettit Coolcharge II (old style, which I'm currently using)
3. PFS

Yeah, I say the Cool Charge(old style). I'm running a PFS intercooler and the only downside of this intercooler is it's probably not quite as large as the Pettit unit, and it also limits your intake choices. I've managed to stuff an M2 airbox into my engine bay, but I'm soon switching to the PFS intake designed to work w/ the duct.

The nice thing about my PFS system is it'll look totally stock once I get the airbox. Think of this engine, bay, but with the intercooler painted black.

I was lucky enough to find it used here on the forum. There have been a few of them floating around for sale. You'd just have to be patient if that's the IC you want.

thanks. it looks like something that i would want. the size and simplicity of it are a plus. and im not going to be running insane hp or boost, so this looks like a good one for me.

You can run an ASP Medium without the need for a smaller battery. Mine fits perfectly. M2/ASP are definatley worth considering.
