Intercooler make a difference?

Can you guys give your opinion as to if you thing/thought upgrading your intercooler gave a noticable performance increase?

I have a dp, mp, free flow cat, RB catback, PFC, M2 intake.

Definatly, the stock unit heat soaks very very easily. It happens less on the m2 big SMIC, charge temps are lower too.

Yes. You'll notice that you'll have MUCH better turbo response as your turbos won't be working as hard to make the same amount of power.

I upgraded to a FMIC and replaced my stock airbox with 2 K&N filters (mainly because I couldn't get the airbox to fit with the IC). This two mods made a huge difference on my car. I would say it was the most noticeable upgrade I have done. From the seat of my pants it feels like the car has a lot more torque.

I went from the stock intercooler to a Blitz SMIC. The Blitz is one of the smaller aftermarket intercoolers. I chose it because I wanted something that would fit with my stock air box without modifications. I felt a small performance gain. My main reason for changing was that I didn't want my turbos to work as hard to make the same power.

Since you have an M2 intake, the M2 SMIC would mate up nicely and you need the Greddy elbow to hook up the piping to the throttle body. I have this set-up and definitely noticed quicker turbo response time.
