I have a Ms intake From Japan that consists of two cone filters that sit on the end of two cast metal deals that have connections for all the hoses. Your basic intake. It also has a plate that sits under it and blocks some of the heat from the rad. and holds the unit in place. I still have a stock intercooler and I left the stock air duct to the old air box in place. My hope was that it would divert some air at the cones. I wonder however should I remove this and cover the hole in the stock air scoop so all the air goes to the intercooler?
