I think you should add the fins on the red car for directional stability;)
|
which diffuser is that?
|
looks good!
Why did you switch though?? Justus |

Damian, the car looks great. I love the combination of the front lip/undertray, feed side skirts, and the diffuser with CYM. Everythings coming along nicely. Good job. :) |

you can see the RE pro (newer version) it in the back ground of the middle picture, against the wall |
looks great....just one question: why do you have a hitch on your car? it looks like a serious road-course car, is that part of a u-haul sponsership?

http://www.myrx7.com/movies but the hitch is to pull a small trailer with the track rubber and tools: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hlight=trailer this is not a new thing, im late in the game on this actually, a few FD track junkies had this setup a long time ago, im just following their footsteps. |
damn, beat me to it damian :D

Looks good! Now you'll have to test it out and let us know if it actually works! :bigthumb:

Great combination. That's the best looking rear diffuser for the FD imho.
Good luck in the run. Have fun! :D |

Come to think of it, I have seen your videos. Never seen that done with a serious track car, but it's quite ingenious. I used to work for a guy in High School that drove his NSX at Gingerman in Michigan about every other weekend, and he always would just drive his car there, racing tires and all (Toyo Proxies TS-1's) |
by the way, i'm going to school up in Houghton, MI at Michigan Tech (on the Keewenaw Peninsula), how far is the closest track to up here where you guys drive (i see that you're from Minnesota)

looks good Damian

damn nice :bigthumb: how much did it set you back?
|
Look nice. hope you will " feel" the different.
I thought you already got trailer and track. because on of your video I thought you unload the car from trailer? |

The problem is that once you pass a certain point with a "serious" track car, it's a) no longer street legal, and b) you probably wouldn't want to drive it significant distance on public roads even if it were. At that point, you look at tow vehicles and car trailers. Hope the weekend goes well, Damian! -b |
wow, it's coming along nicely. I'd be interested to know how that diffuser helps out once you get back. I am also designing front splitter/undertray for my car. I'd like the bumper to be a little more stable. I was also going to attempt to design a full underbelly pan eventually when I have access to a lift like yours :) Congratulations though, car looks graet. I don't think the person that sold the car to you could have sold it to a better person. Damian, have you designed ducting that forces air to the radiator/IC from the front bumper?

A lot more info about the whole undertray is on that thread too. ~Ramy |
