installed radiator & i/c now i have bad idle help!!
 
hey guys , i just got finished installing a pettit cool charge 2 i/c , a m2 radiator now my car is idling bad. its jumping between 1,500-2000 and 2000-2500
it keeps going up and down up and down. it wont idle constant.
any help would be appreciated. thanks!!!

Are you getting puffs of black smoke from the exhaust with the rough idle?

Perhaps during your IC/radiator install(...mainly IC elbow area)...you accidentally pulled off the MAP sensor hose. So check your MAP sensor...comes off fairly easily if not securely tight or zip-tied...definitely roughens your idle as if car is chokin'. Also, what type of ECU you running now that you have a new IC?

no i wasnt getting any black smoke. i went back and tightened all clamps, and double checked all visable hoses, started car back up and its running fine now.
im running the stock ecu right now but i have the power fc in hand and will install real soon. thanks!!

USER ERROR is normally the reason for these types of problems.
It is a learning curve!
