Have you checked to see if you are getting fuel pressure?

GreatShamanGT 10-12-08 08:34 PM

make sure the O-ring is adequetly put on and it's not leaking.

Take a mechanical pressure gauge and "t" it inline with the feed line in the engine bay. One more thing. It's pretty impossible but maybe you crossed the feed and the return lines on the carrier. Goodluck!

^yes make sure you put the neck on that holds the O-ring on otherwise fuel will just fall back into the tank.

pull the fuel pump and inspect the o-ring see if it fell down.

Also make sure you didn't switch the feed and return hoses. The pretty much point to where they should go.

and make sure the wires are hooked up correctly too, otherwise the pump runs backwards

Other thing to try is priming the fuel a little more. The FSM recommends turning it on but not starting at least a couple of times before starting. Try doing that too. You should hear that whine sound at least 3 times to be safe.

Good luck.
