Install questions for the Greddy elbow and hard pipe kit.
I just bought a Greddy elbow and a hard pipe kit. I noticed on the factory elbow that a hose hooks up to it. And on the Greddy elbow that their is no place to hook it up to. So what should be done with the hose? What is the hose for?
If I install the elbow and hard pipe kit will I need to worry about running to lean? I have the stock computer and my mods are: PFS intercooler & cold air intake, Enfini Y-pipe, and a Greddy cat back exhaust.

That hose goin to the stock elbow is for the AWS (automatic warmup system). I lot of people weld a small pipe onto the GReddy elbow and just connect the hose there, just like it is on the factory elbow. Some put a filter on the hose and just let the air bleed out or just disable the AWS. A most people disable or weld the pipe.
I wouldn't worry about running lean w/ the pipe kit.. but i'd be worried about the intercooler!! Very dangerous.. you can have an intake, downpipe and catback with the stock ECU, anymore mods... BE CAREFUL!!! I know a couple people who are even nervous w/ intake, DP and catback w/ the stock ECU.. I would definitely go out and get an ECU!!

I think the PFS IC bolts to the stock IC piping.. since the efini pipe and greddy pipes are stock IC replacements.. they should all bolt right up..
