Injector Question?
Does Anyone Know What The Pattern Of The Stock Injectors May Be. As In At What Rpm's And/or Lbs. Of Boost Do The Secondary Injectors Come Online With The Primaries?
|
i think the 2ndaries come online about 4000rpms, no matter what boost. unless you go stand alone then you can set it for whenever.
|
No.
The secondaries come online only above 2750 rpm whenever the primary injector duty cycle exceeds a certain percentage. I don't know the percentage, however, given how other things are setup, I would guess when the duty cycle exceeds 50% on the primaries. So the boost pressure that this occurs at will vary by rpm. |
Not saying that you are wrong, seem to be a right answer. i just remebered i was on rx7.com website messing with the fuel calculator and it said bigger 2ndaries my cause stumble on 4000 rpm when they come online

Rynberg, That Sounds About Right From What I Recall. Im Just Trying To See If My Problem That Im Having Is Injector Related....
|
Yeah, it's 2750RPM, but load is taken into account by the ECU.
|
on the stock ecu the secondaries come on about 3700 rpm

Does Anyone Really Know....
|
Yeah, on the stock ECU, they won't come on until 2750RPM. As Rynberg said, the ECU switches them on when the primaries hit a certain duty threshold.
They don't simply come on at a certain engine speed. When the engine has exceeded 2750RPM, AND the primary injector duty has exceeded a preset limit, the ECU starts using the secondaries. So the actual engine speed at which the secondaries start spraying depends on load. |
