Anyone have this problem and get it fixed, my tach stays at zero, no matter what RPM.....

man that sucks. the only time that this happend to me was when i changed out the faces to white. i didn't have the needle pushed down far enough. that could maybe be it...but it is kind of a pain to try if it isn't the problem  hope you figure it out.

My tach took a shit too. But it doesn't read zero all the time, instead it bounces around at all rpm ranges, and I can't get it to work. I think its covered under my warranty though, so I am going to get it fixed with my car.

Mine is erratic also. I heard it may have something to do with the solder points becoming cracked from the hard ride. I have hot had the time or balls to get in there to look at it. Will check it eventually!!! Hope it is simpler than this...

check all your grounds... i've seen the tach start going haywire on an FD when the main engine ground (attaches to chassis near the left-hand side of the firewall) was loose, and when you hit bumps it would jiggle and the tach would start dancing the lambada... worth a look!
