Im baaaack

Doubt many of you remember me, Ive always been more of a lurker than a poster. Anyhow, after learning my lesson regarding RX7 purchase the hard way (complete ignorance), years later Im finally on the prowl for a new 7.

First time around I refused to listen to reason. I couldnt afford to maintain the car and ended up with a completely busted beater (hence the forum login). I think Im finally ready for another.

Just wanted to say hi to all and happy Thanksgiving.

Welcome, good luck. There's been a lot of good information consolidated lately in the newbie thread - Mahjik has compiled a bunch of great links and a FAQ has been assembled.

Ive been reading this forum and others steadily for a few years now.. Think Im ready to graduate from the newbie forums. I only wish Id done all that when I bought my first one (which ultimately wound up between a semi and a concrete wall on I-10)..

Mahjik's links at least aren't really newbie links, I still refer to them, but you know you what need by now.... :bigthumb:

lotta FDs for sale in florida. including mine ;)

(can't/should stop affording it at this time in my life, and pay off an STi)

Definately good stuff, no arguing that! Sorry, misinterpretted your initial post. Sounded like the standard "Welcome potential newb buyer, please refer to the stickies and search function before bothering us."

Dont mind me, nursing a nasty hangover.

Unfortunately Im actually in the dreaded Fairfax county for the next couple years. Florida is certainly still an option for purchasing though, visit family regularly in Jax.

You're in Fairfax County?? WHY?!?!?! LOL. GREAT to LIVE in, HORRIBLE to DRIVE in. Good luck man. Don't speed...or they'll own you NICE.

You should come out to one of the MSCW meets...next one is Wednesday, Dec. 1st. A bunch of 7s should be there. www.mscw.com. Oh, and if you're lookin to buy an FD, I have one up for sale here, and so does my friend Steve. Mine's a black 93 R1, FLAWLESS interior & exterior, bone stock. Steve's a red 93 base w/ a few mods, but 39K original miles! Lemme know if you're interested in either ;)
