I have a couple of Q’s for the FD3 guys. I have had some trouble with my leading coils being fried by my Jacobs fc1000… I’m thinking of running over it with my car… I have just bought the Bosh HEC715 Coils instead of the OEM coils for the FD. I’ve heard these are working great for some people. Today I’am running with Power FC for management, will this be a problem with the HEC715 coils? Can I use the Jacobs? Don’t really want too, or does someone have a better alternative/recommendation? Do u have to use a spark “enhancer” with these coils? Just wondering if I could hook it up “temporarily” so I can move the car to the other garage? Please share your thoughts with me :)

Thanks

Use a T2 coil. Howard Coleman ran this for awhile and it worked great! The jacobs fries the fd stock coil.

I would highly recommend the Fc Pro street over the fc3000 though. The pro is digital, the fc3000 is analog. Also the Msd coil over the ultra coil Jacobs offers.

Just my 2 cents.
