if money was no object....

like the title says...what would u do to ur FD?

i would probably make it the baddest street legal 4-rotor, with a custom twin gt35/40 kit on it and a sequential manual tranny.

Doesnt hurt to dream every once in a while :)

kyle@insight 07-09-03 01:03 AM

I'd do a 3 rotor, probably with a semi-small responsive turbo. Aggressive street port and a set of HRE wheels. That'd probably do it for me, outside of the normal upgrades.

I wouldn't build for crazy power, there's a point where I feel you have too much power and it becomes unusable. I'd just want the 3 rotor for the added torque :)

teamstealth 07-09-03 01:05 AM

ah yes, i forgot about the HRE rims, full carbon fiber interior, and a full mazdaspeed body kit with the 787B paint job

mazdaspeed00 07-09-03 03:08 AM

import a new spirit R over to the US and make it street legel. :)

TwinTurboRX-7 07-09-03 03:23 AM

ummm lets say 3 rotor, BIG TURBO, full carbon fiber body..... ummm hks alteza style....

and anything i could think of....

but if money wasnt an option you can sign me up for a pugatti zonda.....

ludeowner 07-09-03 04:00 AM

Yup, I'd probably do a 3 rotor conversion too, with a big T78 or T88, and maybe a HKS sequential or Supra tranny mated up to it. Gutted interior, full roll cage, RE Amemiya widebody kit, AD9 CF hood C -West CF wing, sleek headlights. 18x9/18x10 Advan RGs, Brembo or Willwood big brakes, anything to do with suspension will be upgraded, ohhhh and some fuzzy dice.

The car would be my daily driver too. :D

teamstealth 07-09-03 11:42 AM

Haha, i too love that Pagani Zonda. I'm thinkin that would be track only, as my monster 4-rotor FD would be my street car. I wonder what a FD would look like with the 787B paint scheme.....

Yea right. Then the car would have been around $85,000.

If money was no object, I would redo my seats and carpet, paint the car, get some new wheels and just enjoy the car. ;)

93blackrx 07-09-03 02:30 PM

well I'd have my seven, a supra, skyline and others done out to the nines. You can't forget about your fleet of lambos, and porsches. a few houses, a private jet. The new rolls royce, hot..naked..maids. an island, the list goes on and on.

matty 07-09-03 02:36 PM

quit my job....i am suffering.

I would scare the bezesus out of the American people into supporting a war in a godforsaken place in the middle of fricking land of camels. Get alot of innocent hardworking Americans killed (and alot of foreigners killed but who cares?) Take the oil from this place and remake this place into my own oil reserve, raise alot of money and win the presidential erection. Oh yes, donate my RX7 to the Ford Museum in Detroit.

Oh wait, someone else is doing it already. Damn, I gotta to think even bigger: how about world domination and mind control?

I agree.

T88NosRx7 07-09-03 05:46 PM

20B with T88, water injection, all the goodies :)

r0t0r-rooter 07-09-03 05:53 PM

If $$ was no object, I'd get my pfc tuned @ XS (after each mod) :)

For stock twins, it'll take them ~4-5 hrs. Single turbo's take ~ 8 & + hrs. This is @ $150/hr. This is after the $75 mandatory diagnostic & $45 dyno strap-on fee.
:cursing:

scratchjunkie 07-09-03 06:10 PM

id buy a bunch of motors/turbos/trannies and leave them on stand by. gotta get the baller wheels too and definately the whistles.

JOES95RX7 07-09-03 06:16 PM

I hate to say this but I would like to have a streetable cosmo. Yeah, that would be a nice to park in my garage next to my 7.

Rhode_Dog 07-09-03 06:18 PM

hmmm, 3 rotor with alluminum housings, Apexi AX75 turbo, titanium intercooler piping, pay Getrag to build a 6 speed. Recaro RZ seats, with matching color interior panels, Ohlins coilovers, Fikse wheels, have carbon fiber aero parts built for car then wind tunnel tested....dreaming is always nice

Rhode_Dog 07-09-03 06:30 PM

what kind of wing is that in your sig, custom job? i like it

fastcarfreak 07-09-03 06:35 PM

if money was no object, my 7 would be running 9s and be streetable.

Tim Benton 07-09-03 09:04 PM

I think the 20B in the FD is every rotary guys wet dream...mine too:)
I road in a 20B fd, damn that was nice.
Tim
