If this is the idle bleed screw, then what's this?
 

I installed a PowerFC today, and instead of closing and opening (half-turning) the screw on the bottom of the throttle body, I closed and half-turn opened the screw highlighted in red. :doh: Which screw is this? Is it a TPS Sensor screw?

Will there be any long-term ill-effects of having mistakenly adjusted this screw? I distinctly remember having to turn it a few times to close it, which I thought was odd.

That sets the fast idle when the car is cold. Normally the car will idle about 1500 RPM when cold, and that idle slowly comes down as the car warms up. That screw lets you adjust that.

A minor tweak of that screw would most likely not be noticeable. I've adjusted mine some to lower the cold idle a bit.

Regardless, you can play with that all you want and not hurt anything on the car.

today i set lower idle with this screw under the throttle body. fully to right to lower idle, and turn to left side to higher. it works perfect.

now, the idle seems sit on right number
