If I get BNR's or run 360hp on stock seq..do I need Profec?

I am trying to plan out my upgrade path.

Right now the car is essentially stock...Went through a rebuild less than 10,000 miles ago.

Have AST, zip tied hoses. Just got Koyo. M2 Dp on the way...

I plan on getting the RX7 fashion CAI (M2 too hard to get), and either medium or large IC, RB duals, and PFC....

If I run higher boost on the stock twins or BNR's, can I manage the boost with the PFC or would it be better to control the boost with a profec b?

I'd always see if the PFC will handle the boost control first before investing in a $350 item. I'm running the BNRs sequentially at 16 psi and although I'm having a strange problem with my differential, the turbos work great sequentially and there is no spiking so far. I do hve a hi-flo cat which helps with boost control (compared to a midpipe) ..and I don't have any boost controller besides the PFC. You could always try the Home Depot valves as I've heard they work great for $15

Thanks Kwik,

Do you have the stage 3's sequential or 2's??

I already purchased the profec b....but after reading more post and what I plan to do with the car I think I can let the PFC control boost.

have you dyno'd you car yet?

I'm running the stage 2s sequentially. They have them same compressor wheels as the stage 3 but have the stock carbon seals rather than the dynamic seals in the stage 3s. The stage 3s will spool quicker than the stage 2s but will put down the same numbers overall. I'm being dynoed next week - I'm having my differential replaced right now.
