idle warm up rpm?
ok when I turn my car on in the morning it typically jumps to about 1500 rpms and then will drop to 1,000, but if I blip the throttle at all before the car reaches 73-75C on the PFC the car will idle no lower than 1500 rpms sometimes 2000, this is because of the PFC I am asuming, but for general warm ups, the lower the idle the better correct? thanks

you should start your car in gear, that way it will idle at around 1200 or less.

75-80c your idle is normal right?

That's how the PFC works. That's why I usually let it warm up a few minutes at 1200 rpm to avoid that pegging to 2k rpm at cold temps. My idle usually drops to normal by 73-75C.
Little known fact about the PFC: It has just as many quirks as the stock ecu.... |
