Idle issues once again- Adjusting Idle - Yes i searched.
 

Im trying to adjust my idle and from various searchs the only thing i can find is explination of where to find the adjustment screw. What im looking for is a step by step proccess ( like a how to ) of what to do, The reason for this is because i heard there are several screws to adjust ( Gahhhh! ).... Anyhow the reason im looking to adjust my idle is because at operating temp my idle is at like 700-720 rpms.. then starts to idle hunt slightly. If i turn my headlights ON. the Rpms go up to about 810-820 and it holds steady with only slight movement in the needle. Now from what ive read everyones idle drops when the turn on accessories ( like A/C ect. ). Anny help would be appciated. thanks.

Your idle bumping up is normal.. It's compensating for the electrical load. I'd try to point you in the right direction with the idle, but don't know much about it.. When I first got my FD, I tightened the throttle cable a little (loose) and it cleared up my idle problem. :)

The procedure is fully detailed in the ubiquitous FSM (Factory Service Manual) found on PDF on many web sites. I'm sure if you search it is also detailed here. The air bleed screw is in the throttle body, below where the plastic elbow is.

High idle can also be due to air leaking into the manifold after the MAP sensor hose. It can also be due to the wax rod or improperly adjusted throttle cable as mentioned earlier here...
