Identify these intake hoses?
These were on the car when I bought it. During my current rebuild I found a couple of small holes in them so they are done. Problem is, I don't have the brand or size. Aeroquip maybe? Where would I find replacements?
Thanks Steve http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...ntakeHoses.jpg |
They just look like generic couplers to me. You can find some here:
ATP Turbo Personally, I prefer Hose Techniques: http://www.hosetechniques.com/products/index.php A buddy of mine trying just about all of them out there and had the least amount of issues with Hose Technique couplers. So, I started using them a few years back and have had the same good luck. As far as size, do you need intake or intercooler couplers? |
All those are are 4 ply reinforced silicone couplers. Most likley 2.75" Inner Diameter by 3" length (you should measure to make sure). Any performance shop will have them or can get them. Just make sure you get the 4 ply reinforced ones and not the cheap ebay ones which will burst.
Here are just a few of the hundreds to chose from... http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...b67c6161d4e2a9 http://www.turboneticsinc.com/produc...ategory_id=107 EDIT: Mahjik beat me to it. :) |

http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...rs/Intake1.jpg Thanks guys. Didn't realize there were so many choices or where to look. Mahjik, man, I really like those hosetechniques. |
Ok, you need the intercooler couplers. NTIMD8 gave you the correct sizes up above. ;)

Well, I checked them all out and ended up ordering from Hose Techniques.
Got them today and wow! Very happy. All I can say is "Holy Man-Clamps Batman!". Nice referral Mahjik. Below is before and after. http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...ewHoses001.jpg |
