I need some type of conversion factor... ps?
 

On the HKS website they list their turbos in PS in terms of output, so instead of bothering people on the forum about how much each turbo produces can I just have a conversion from PS to PSI or horsepower or whatever the hell it'd convert into? I know generally what turbos are too big or too small for what I want, but I want to do some shopping around to get exactly what I want and for the price I want. Also, if anybody could point me in the direction of what all the technical stats of the turbo charger mean, can you explain this random turbo I picked from the site...

HKS GT2835 Pro S - 420 PS Output

COMPRESSOR:
-Wheel- 56 Trim - 53.1 Inducer / 71.1 Major
-Housing- 100 Inlet / 50 Outlet - 0.50 A/R
TURBINE:
-Wheel- 84 Trim - 56.5 Major / 51.8 Exducer

I think they're just talking about how much power it can support. PS is the metric equivalent of HP. 420 PS = 414.25 HP.

Yeah, PS is a German kinda-metric horsepower rating. It's close enough to horsepower to be equivalent.

FYI, PS is the acronym for the German word for horsepower. Can't remember the exact word, however :).

i've looked it up before. i thought 1 hp is 1.04 ps. that's why the 280ps "limit" in japan works out to 276hp, but if you do the math, 280ps is 269hp.
you know what, just ignore me. i don't think i know what i'm talking about.
