I have a short somewhere

I finished rebuilding my car about a week ago and have been driving it ever since. I basically could find where all the wires went except for the coolant buzzer. Last night while going to work I noticed the buzzer just randomly stopped...I was pleasantly surprised until I found out all my guages stopped working. I checked the fuses and found that the one for the 15 fuse for the guages blew. I changed it and everything was fine until just now the same thing happened, except this time my car is running on one rotor now...I've been babying it the entire time and need to change my plugs due to the rebuild. Do yall have any idea where the short could be...any common place where they happen?

The connector could have hit the engine in such a way that could have caused it to short out so check the plug for any signs of burning.
