I cleaned up my baby (pics) 93 VR R1

Finally got a clear day here in the Bay Area. I took the chance and washed the car before the rain started up again later this week.

I went though a 5 step process:

wash
claybar
cleanser wax
yellow wax
glaze

+interior detailing and windows and wheels and other

Took me 4 hours

pics are included below

Looks fantastic. What sort of wheels are those? Do you happen to know what offset and wheel sizes? TIA.

here are pics of the rolled fender lips. these were requested earlier. The fenders were rolled and then coated with a protective paint & texture close to that of the bottom 1/4 of the door and then sealed w/ a clear coat. You cann't really see that in the pics, but you can barely see it in real life as well.

The claybar is awesome, I use it often, and it's a lot of work, but it really makes a difference especially on 10yr old paint.

There's a fine line between using to much and too little lubricant. If you use too much, the claybar won't do it's job and just pass over the dirt. if you use too little, the claybar will stick to the paint and leave a big chunk of it on the surface. Do one panel at a time, and be sure to buff off all excess lubricant (I guess you COULD use water, but water is dirty. I use the showtime detailer that comes with the mother's claybar).

This was my 1st time using the glaze. which takes Even LONGER and more time to haze than wax. It also made this squeeking noise which was different. This took some major buffuing, but really put that final touch on it.
