I am going through plugs evey 1500 miles

I noticed that I was going through pluds about evey 1500 miles. they are nice colour, no signes of rich or lean conditions, but the electrode is rounded like an old school pencil. I am running 9s all around, and thinking to go with 10s, but don;t really want a colder plug since the plugs seem to be holding up heat range wise. Anybody haev anytnig to add? I am running the HKS iognition amplifier and magnecor wires, all other ignition components are stock.

Hey, I get it; L=L, and T=T....you're a genius, SGT :D

Hey KZ1, Gotham Racing is looking at selling spark plug cleaners for a reasonable price, somewhere in the $20-30 range. I've been using Kan's periodically to clean my race plugs and it works awesome. You do need a compressor, however.

Let me know, man :)

wow, that's a lot of plugs to go through. are the electrodes wearing out on all 4 or mostly just the leadings? you running platinums?

Are you using the platinum plugs, KZ1? I wonder if the ignition amp has anything to do with you're problems.

Those things rock! I have a friend who owns one, and I love using it. It works great for fouled out plugs on flooded engines.
