I also finally dyno'd...input please...

1st run 242/210
2nd run 235/199
3rd run 225/194

103k original engine/turbo w/ low compression :D
HKS downpipe
N1 Dual
Power FC - boost set to 11.4 psi primary, 10.7 psi secondary

temp was pretty hot

so what do you guys think?

- as expected
- low probably bc of old engine
- low probably bc pfc not tuned correctly
- get more mods then we'll talk :p:

seems like from 4800 to 6000 rpm a/f is good (1st run), but after 6000 rpm it's too rich? and for 2nd and 3rd it just too rich always. and what can i do to not see so much decrease in power between runs?

thanks for all the help

so your untuned? Some more mods would help your numbers out.

Your IC was probaly heat soaked, which would account for the loss of hp as the runs progressed.

Agreed, maybe a nice SMIC and some good PFC tuning would be nice along with 13 psi, Id say you can get pretty good numbers with just those 2 things (PFC tuning set to 13 psi, and an IC install)....

In anycase 242 rwhp is nice especially on 11 psi and untuned...

Good luck,

Happy boosting :D

it was mail ordered "tuned" by sr motorsports. being the dumb ass that i am i didn't even know you could set different boost levels until i got home and read the manual :bash:

Same for everyone

I think everyone's first run was their best. Mine was. It may not be heat soaked but it definately heats up. I think it's a "feature" of any turbo engine. I have the IC mister controller sitting in the closet waiting to be installed. That should help kep the IC temp down on any size IC.

A cold air intake would be cheaper than the IC if money is to be considered.

can you list all the #s from your runs, curious how your drop off compares to mine.
