How's this time slip look?? Need drag tires?

Here is the info:

R/T .113
60' 2.011
330 5.493
1/8 8.331
MPH 88.49
1000 10.729
1/4 12.754
MPH 113.06

This is my best run thus far, still getting the hang of it. Running non-seq is tougher to launch I have found but once you get used to it its not too bad. This run was on normal street tires, not even Z rated ones at that so I was wondering what a set of good drag radials would do for me, is it worth it? I get alot, ALOT of wheel spin so I know there is definitely room for improvement on that time. Any thoughts?

Drag Radials could drop your time by .5 to 1.0 whole second maybe. I have about the same HP as you probably have and I haven't taken my car to the strip yet because I want drag radials on there first hehe.

Ice - you want to daily drive an R32!?!?

um, and oh yea, get some radial's they would kick ass on your RX!

on how much boost? 13-14lbs?
The ET and trap, 0-60 are good on those tires.
Ive seen alot of FDs posting times, break 12s with 110 traps so a 12.7 at 113 seems about right. perhaps 12.5 on street tires with that 113mph
Id say with that trap you could shave off a few tenths with some slicks.

I was running 14psi. What brand tires do you guys recommend. I was looking at the Nitto 555 extreme's or the BFGoodrich T/A drag radials, any others I should be looking at?

Get the Nitto 555R drag radials. My buddy just recently cut a 1.7 60' on his and he's puting down a LOT more power than you. They're a great tire, very daily driveable. 245/45/16 would be an ideal size for the stock wheels.

Cool, thats what I was looking to get, thanks for the suggestion Kyle.

Lookin' good, Steve, especially for crappy tires. Here's to you getting deeper into the 12s

good times...with that trap you should be able to run some low 12s.

also...switch to the power fc for some fine tuning.

also...with that 60' and that trap i expexted to read a faster ET. With a slower 60' and a lower mph (110mph), i ran 12.7. Not sure why this is..maybe vosko or one of the veteran drag racers will chime in.

Thanks Rich, I appreciate it. Hopefully by the end of the summer I will be in the extremely low 12's.
