Take your intercooer out of the car, grab a hose, fill it up with water, seal the end tank exit pipe turn it upside down. Do the same with the other side.

that easy huh? i thought it was going to require some sort or air test. so basically fill it up, turn it upside down, shake it a little, and hope that nothing leaks out?

yup, or you can tap a point before the intercooler and after... hook up two boost gauges and test the pressure drop.

followup question: how would i dry out the intercooler before reinstalling it on my car?

should i let it sit and air dry? or blow air through it? or does it even matter if there is a little moisture in it? thanks.

You dont need to shake it (Unless you have some sort of fettish that we dont know about).

Just make sure you turn it upside town to test the other side too.

lol, just shake it dry, a little water isnt gonna hurt your engine

remember tho, if you shake it more than twice your playing with it!`

haha. thanks for the quick response and the good advice. i'll make sure to shake no more than twice. :mspank: :mspank:
