FDFDFD.... seriously... just get a job at any fast food place.... kfc, mcdonalds, etc... Save up money! just don't waste it on stupid little things like the rest 90% of teens...

Actually I saved up more than $2000 since I was born ( mostly present money I saved up to eventually buy a car ) then last year my mom put it all into a savings account which I cannot access fore 5 more years.. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

Is it legal to work @ age 15 in Mass?

I've saved up almost $600 since then.... well, there's one aftermarket seat for my future FD :)

And I want to do good in school, too.

4000 dollars from parents to buy a car, 1000 saved up, 1500 grad money, 7000 loan = a good running FD for me!
a week after I turned 19, not even a month ago!

xplosive 06-19-08 06:18 PM

got my fd 2 weeks ago and im 17. Dad co-signed for me cause he wanted me and him to work on this car together. Luckily him and his brother know their rotaries. (Uncle rebuilds them for a living)

I have an athletic competitive cyclist kidney that I'd trade for a FD. Some alcohol, but I'll give a 10 year warrenty on it. I want a FD!!!!

researched for an FD when i was 13-14. Bought car for 9,500 when i was 16 in 2003. Still have the car and I am grateful for every moment, I'm 21 now.

StreetRage 06-19-08 07:07 PM

hahahahaha... funny sh** montego.... =D
wow.... u owned one for 10 years?! Thats crazY! =D good stuff.
And no FDFDFD i dont think its legal to work at 15... at least not in california.... but u can always do some work under the table. There are always jobs that pay cash and they usually dont care how old you are..... For example, standing there waving the sign... thats like $9 an hour over here. cash. u can do it at 15. and another job i did when i was 15 is passing out flyers for businesses. Like door to door passing out all kinds of advertisements. $10 an hour cash.

Legal age of work is 14 =), I knew cuz that's when i started working with a working permit from school.

Save up until i was in college at age of 18 ( June 5, 2005), worked @ Bank of America. Bought mine for 11k cash all earned by myself.

Loved it since I was in high school, bought it still have it and getting ready for a single turbo conversion =)

What kind of places hire you at 14 years old? I wouldn't think many people would hire 14 year olds?

KKMpunkrock2011 06-19-08 08:50 PM

hyvee and burger king is really the only places here that do, i'm sure there are others, like I know amigos will give you at least a courtesy interview, but i'm not sure of really anything else
oh and you can detassle, 1500 in three weeks, but up at five in a pesticide covered field, not sure it's worth it

I actually started working @ a friend's parent's distribution company. Try movie theatres? My cousin he is 16, he just recently got hired by Century here in SF, CA. So if there is a will, there is a way =)

I am proud to say that i truly do DESERVE it!!!!! I fell in love with the car when i was in 6th grade!!! Ever since then my mind has been set on getting the RX-7!!!! I always told my friends that i was gonna get a RX-7!!! Not a single person ever believed me!!! Everyone told me that there was no way that i could afford it, or even find it..... My LIFE GOAL was to get the FD when i was 16 years old for my first car!!!!! I started saving up when i was 14 and on March 18th I bought my very own FD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITHOUT ANY HELP!!!! No help from parents, no help from anyone!! Did it all on my own!!! One of my main goals in life is now complete!!!! and if i die tomorrow, i will die in peace!!! =)

Nice work man! you truely deserve it. Enjoy ;-)
