How much tranny fluid?

I'am not quite sure how much since it's been awhile but I think I used a little over 2 or 3 quarts. Just fill it up until it starts to come out of the filler hole.

The tranny starts to overflow after about 2.5 quarts. So just get 3 quarts of whatever tranny oil you wanna get.

2.5 is good. I use Mobile 1 synthetic 75x90.

Yup it holds 2.6, so get 3 quarts just incase if you are useing the vacuum pump thing, when I did my it leak alot of it out.

Aother easy way to fill the tranny is thorugh the console/gear shifter from inside the car.
Just pull the console off and run a hose through it to the filler hole, and start to fill it till the oil comes out of the hole.

It was much easier and faster then useing a pump!

Don't fill it from the inside. You won't be able to see when its full, and there is a good chance you will spill some on the inside of your car. You have to get under the car to remove/replace the filler plug anyway. Do it right.

the filler plug does not need to be replaced when you replace the fluid. it is the square 14mm plug you see. you can take it off with a 14mm wrench or a 9/16" 8 point socket which is better if it is stuck on there too tight. do a search for more info.

This was a post? There is a search function ya know...OR it says how many quarts in your manual. People are just getting TOO lazy I think...LOL. j/k

You won't spill the oil if you got a long enough house,(you could do it outside of the car) one end of it to the filler hole, the other end with a funnel. and if you got a friend that could pour the oil and with you under the car watching when it's full and start to come out of the hole.

If you are doing it by yourself you should know when you've poured 2.6 quarts of it in(thats all it holds). Then carefully pull the house away and go under the car tighten the filler plug!:)
