How much power does the FD fuel pump support?
I bought an FC with an FD fuel pump installed in it, and it has an upgraded turbocharger and whatnot. I'm going to crank the boost and tune it, but before I do I need to know if I have to swap out fuel pumps. I was just wondering where the stock FD fuel pump maxes out at in terms of HP. Thanks!

In an FD with the stock fuel system it tops out around 320-340 whp at around 14.5psi. The only way to tell for sure is to get a fuel pressure gauge and watch it as you tune.

210 lph

13.5V
Pressure is operational pressure Numbers are from 0.60 - 0.65 BSFC 50 psi - 209.58 LPH - 512-554 crank HP 55 psi - 199.43 LPH - 487-528 crank HP 60 psi - 191.66 LPH - 468-507 crank HP 65 psi - 177.93 LPH - 435-471 crank HP |
Not bad, an FD fuel pump should work for now, only looking for ~330rwhp.

Crank up the voltage to 14.5 and it will flow a ton

Of course that is assuming an other wise healthy car. A wideband and fuel pressure gauge would be wise if one were thinking of taking it to the brink.
