How do I run 2 fuel pumps?
ok, I'm installing a single turbo and a direct port 75 shot of nitrous. I want to run 2 fuel pumps for this. How do I get 2 fuel pumps in there? Also, what kind should I run? I have a walbro 255lph right now, would 2 of those do the job?

Hose clamp one fuel pump to the existing one.
How you want to run your fuel from there is up to you. You can "Y" them inside the tank, in the engine bay, use the FPR as the "Y" or run dual return lines...that's up to you. |
ok, cool. I was thinking about running a seperate line just for the nitrous.

Those look like Aeromotive units and I think they should supply more fuel than any man and his car should ever need!

That 500 rating is probably at 40psi, which is less than what you'll have even at idle. STEPHEN |

What is the model number, I think Aeromotive has flow charts on thier website

Not sure of the model # off hand. I believe it is the A1000 unit. It isn't the top-of-the-line eliminator one.

Yea, I though it was the A1000 from the pic. Have you heard them with the car on yet? Those babies are LOUD, especially since you ahve 2 of them. They are going to be louder than your engine

STEPHEN I will not run 20psi. More likely, 7 PSI on the streets, and if need-be, 14 psi. I don't think I will traction for that. |

I f you want to be running more than 55 psi fuel pressure (38 idle and 15+ boost) then stay awat from the A1000 , I am having problems where that pump cannot supply enough to maintain the line pressure . Why not spend a little more and go with twin BOSCH ' 044 or even the mechanicel AEROMOTIVE.

There is a lot of things in the car which isn't needed for 7-15 psi of boost (Transmission, Axles, etc). But, it is good to know the car has it. :) |
